Chief Meteorologist with WVTM NBC 13, Birmingham, AL
Jerry Tracey wanted to be a television meteorologist at age five. Sixty years later he is still enjoying it and says it is never boring! His career in meteorology began in 1975 at Accu-Weather. He started doing television weather in 1985 at WINK-TV, Fort Myers, Florida then Weather Channel in Atlanta in 1986. In 1987, a friend and co-worker insisted he apply at WVTM 13, Birmingham, almost 32 years ago.
Jerry married his wife, Kathy, in 1976. They have two children and three grandchildren, ages 8, 6 and 4. Everyone is local, so they get to see each other often.
Jerry grew up in Philadelphia but is proud to call Birmingham home!

The Senior Spirit Expo will be held at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham (The Wynfrey). Connected to the Riverchase Galleria Mall, this is an upscale, four-star hotel located in the heart of Hoover. This beautiful venue recently underwent a $20 million restoration. The Senior Spirit Expo will take place over 13,000 sq ft of beautiful conference space.
